Our Approach

Our child-centred philosophy and therapeutic approach

Our Child-Centred Philosophy

At Angel Group Care, our approach is rooted in the understanding that every young person who comes into our care has experienced significant trauma and disruption. We believe that with the right environment, relationships, and support, healing and positive change are always possible.

Our therapeutic model integrates evidence-based approaches including trauma-informed care, the PACE model (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity, Empathy), and attachment theory.

Core Principles

1. Safety First

Physical and emotional safety is the foundation of everything we do.

2. Therapeutic Relationships

Healing happens through relationships. Our staff build genuine, trusting connections with young people.

3. Individual Focus

Every young person is unique. Care plans are developed collaboratively and regularly reviewed.

4. Empowerment

We involve young people in decisions about their care and support independence skills.

5. Education and Achievement

We work closely with schools and education providers to ensure meaningful learning opportunities.

6. Positive Outcomes

Improved emotional wellbeing, educational progress, stronger relationships, and successful transitions.
